Abstract
The objective of research was to know the effects of potassium fertilizer and T. viride on Fusarium Wilt disease of chili, to know effective measure of potassium fertilizer and T. viride to control F. oxysporum, and to know the ability of isolate T. viride against Fusarium Wilt disease of chili. The experiment was conducted in Phytopathological Laboratory and Greenhouse, Department of Plant Pests and Diseases Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University ffom September to Desember 2006. The experiment was arranged in a Factorial Randomized Block Design. The first factor (K) was potassium fertilizer; K0= 0 g potassium fertilizer/plant, Kl= 1,8 g potassium fertilizer/plant, K2= 2,5 g potassium fertilizer/plant, K3= 2,9 g potassium fertilizer/plant, the second factor (T) was T. T. viride/plant, T2= 10 g T. viride / plant, T3= 15 g F. viride /plant. The result showed that incubation period was between 9 to 18,33 days. The potassium fertilizer significantly affected fresh weight and dry weight but didn’t significantly affected the percentage plant infected and plant height. T. viride and interaction didn’t significantly affect all parameter observed. 1,8 g KCl/plant effective in suppress Fusarium wilt disease pathogens. 15 g/ plant T. viride not effective in suppress Fusarium wilt disease pathogens. The interaction between viride; Tl= 5 g was potassium fertilizer and T. viride not significant in Fusarium wilt disease development.
