Abstract

The study aims to determine the factors that cause students of PTM FKIP Unsri class of 2016 learning difficulties in the Engineering Mechanic Courses. This research use descriptive research method with saturation sampling technique. Data collecting technique using questionnaire with likert scale. Instrument validity test includes content validity and construct validity, while instrument reliability test using Alpha Cronbach formula. The results showed that the factors that caused the students of PTM FKIP Unsri class of 2016 learning difficulties in the Engineering Mechanic Courses in terms of internal factors include physiological factors equal to 79.54% and psychological factors consisting of attitudes equal to 75.11%, interest equal to 70.53 %, and motivation of 81.88%. While if viewed from external factor consist of family environment equal to 75,49%, social environment equal to 71,73%, and society environment equal to 71,02%.
