Abstract

This research was motivated by direct cash assistance during the pandemic, one of which was in the village of Ulak Paceh to find out the impact of direct cash assistance experienced by the community during the pandemic, especially the social and economic impact. The theory used in this study is the theory of Langbein and there are four aspects that are the focus of the impact analysis, namely Time, Difference between actual and expected impacts, level of impact aggregation and type of program impact. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, documentation and Focus Group Discussion. The results of this study found that the impact of direct assistance in helping the community during the pandemic even though in its implementation it was still not going well but the assistance was very influential for the economy of the target households, in the future if there is direct cash assistance again the government should pay more attention to basic things such as groups goals so that there is no overlap at the time of implementation Keywords: Impact, Pandemic
