Abstract

This research aims to determined the ability to empathize students who have low learning achievement in SMA Negeri 6 Palembang. This research uses quantitative approach with survey method. The data collecting technique used is questionnaire consisting of three aspects of listening to other people’s talk well, accepting other people’s point of view, and being sensitive to the feelings of others. The population of this research is 50 students of eleven grade which is included in 5 lowest rank obtained from the teacher’s leger. Sample in this research is 50 people who have low learning achievement, with total sampling technique. The result of data analysis shows that 72 percent students who have low learning achievement ability empathy high.
