Abstract

This study aimed to determine differences in academic profiles of students in terms of the scores of national examination, report cards, psychological results, and learning styles based on the entrance selection systems. This study was a comparative study conducted from December 2017 to January 2018 in the PGSD program of Sriwijaya University. The subjects were all students of PGSD 2017 amounted to 81 students consisting of 22 students from SNMPTN, 28 students from SBMPTN, and 31 students from USMB. The data collection techniques used were documentation and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used was one-way Anova. The result showed that there was no difference between their academic profiles accepted through SNMPTN, SBMPTN, and USMB based on the scores of national examination and psychological test of IQ. Meanwhile, if it was viewed from the average of the XII report cards in the second half, there was a difference between students from SNMPTN, SBMPTN and USMB. From the aspect of learning style, students from SNMPTN, SBMPTN, and USMB had more collaborative learning styles.
