Abstract

The objective of the research was to find the distribution of Banana Bunchy Top Virus spread by Penlalonia nigronervosa. The research was a survey in the are of Ogan Ilir Sumatera Selatan. The research was conducted from September 2008 to june 2009. The research was a survey in the are of Ogan Ilir Sumatera Selatan as the research methode. Parameter of this research were bunchy top was infected in banana by P. nigronervosa, diseases that commonly in banana, coordinate of bunchy top virus. The research was used Global Positioning System for coordinate a number. The result of this survey showed the phenomenon of banana was infected by Banana bunchy top virus and made banana plant become smaller. The leaf more shorter, narrow and stand up right. The leaf rolling at the top. The side of the leaf rolling to the top and becoming more green. The pattem of the spreading for watching, using 1.560 spot of banana plant. BBTV, was found in various phenomenon widely spread all over Ogan Ilir. The distribution seemed follow the pattem of road and path ways as well as the distribution of banana it self.
