Abstract

The objective of the research was to observe the effects of concentration seed extract from physic nut toward population and attack of A. craccivora on cowpea crop. The research was conducted from November 2005 until January 2006 in the cowpea plantation in Experimental Field of Agriculture Faculty University of Sriwijaya, Inderalaya. The research was designed by Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 6 treatments and 4 replications. Concentration of seed extract from physic nut which applicated on cowpea crop was the treatment, concentration of seed extract physic nut used as follows : A = control, B = Seed extract physic nut 1%, C = Seed extract physic nut 2%, D = Seed extract physic nut 3%, E = Seed extract physic nut 4% and F = Seed extract physic nut 5%. The parameters observed were population and attack lavel of A. craccivora on cowpea. The result of research showed that application of seed extract physic nut cowpea crop could significantly affected on population and attack A. on craccivora.
