Abstract

Minyak biji jarak pagar telah di cracking menggunakan katalis Nb20sMontmorillonit terpilar ZrCh. Cracking dilakukan pada temperatur 500°C, laju alir gas hidrogen 10 mL/det, dan variasi berat katalis 6, 8 10, 12 dan 14 gram. Produk cracking yang dihasilkan dihitung persentase konversi total produk, minyak, polar, coke dan gas. Hasil menunjukkan berat katalis dengan produk minyak maksimum adalah 8 gram dengan konversi total 47,359% terdiri dari minyak 30,645%, polar 5,083 %, coke 2,844%, gas 8,934%. Kromatografi gas (KG) menghasilkan fraksi bensin, kerosin dan solar masing-masing sebesar 10,228%, 11,274% dan 9,142%. Kromatografi gas spektrometri massa (KG-MS memperlihatkan hidrokarbon telah dicracking menjadi C5-C9 99,18(fraksi bensin) dan C11-C12 0,81% (fraksi kerosin) Kata Kunci: Minyak biji jarak pagar, katalis Nb205-Montmorillonit terpilar Zr02 Produk cracking.
