Abstract

This research was investigated to fmd out the optimum modiflcation nutrient concentration on the growth and yield of tomatoes. It was held from April until July 2005 at agriculture faculty’s green house, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya.Method of this research was factorial random block design with two factor and three repetitions. The first factor are NPK 15:15:15 fertilizer treatments (P) which are P1 ( 1 g l'1), P2 ( 2 g l'1), P3 ( 3 g l'1) and P4 ( 4 g l'1). The second factor are Metalik foliar fertilizer treatments (M) which are Ml ( 1 ml l'1), M2 ( 2 ml l'1) and M3 ( 3 ml l'1).The result of this research showed that the treatment P1M2 by giving NPK 15:15:15 fertilizer 1 g l"1 (Pl) and Metalik foliar fertilizer 2 ml l'1 (M2) could increase the yield of tomatoes more than the other treatment by hidroponik.
