Abstract

This study aims to find out how to implement Distance Learning Policy during the Covid-19 Period at SDN 21 Banyuasin III. This method of research is description with qualitative approaches and Data collection techniques using interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this study that the Implementation of the Distance Learning Policy during the Covid-19 Period at SDN 21 Banyuasin III has been carried out but has not been maximized, Among them are 1) Compliance Level, generally it has been carried out by fulfilling the duties and functions of the implementor in supporting Distance Learning. 2) The dimensions of the implementation of routine functions have not been maximized, as indicated by the performance of the Covid-19 Alert Team at SDN 21 Banyuasin III which has not gone well. 3) Finally, on the Dimensions of Implementation and the desired Impact, it has gone well but has not been maximized, marked by the application of combination learning methods (online and offline) and the implementation of the Covid-19 protocol which is also considered very bad with the implementation of protocols and prevention facilities that are still very poor. minimal and the impact is a decrease in knowledge from students and the emergence of boredom from students and parents during distance learning and it is feared that it will create new clusters of the spread of Covid-19 in schools. The recommendation offered is that SDN 21 Banyuasin III should fulfill Covid-19 prevention facilities and make innovations and creations related to the learning model provided to students.
