Abstract

This research examines the social interactions that occur in the empowerment activities undertaken by the peat restoration agency in mandalasari village kecamatan lalan kabupaten muba between the village community and the facilitator of the peat restoration agency. The purpose of this research is to find out the interactions and forms of social interactions that occur in community empowerment activities by peat restoration agency in mandalasari village communities by using the concept of community empowerment by Chambers and the concept of social interaction by Gillin and Gillin The results of this research are the interaction process that took place and the forms of interaction that exist in empowerment activities by peat restoration agencies in mandalasari vilages in the form of deliberation, implementation of empowerment activities, community social events.
