Abstract

This research discusses the expansion of the region in the area of South Sumatra precisely in Panukal Abab Lematang Ilir Regency (PALI). To get significant results in this research, 3 analyses will be used, namely descriptive analysis and comparative analysis (different t-test), (Chi-square test). The results of descriptive analysis of labor, health, PDRB variables, road length, greater after expansion and on electricity installed power variables and school facilities had lower scores after expansion. From the results of the Chi-square test on social aspects are known to have an equalization influence in PALI Regency. From the results of different t-tests with social, economic, infrastructure aspects have a significant difference between before expansion and after expansion.
