Abstract

Pengaruh pemberian limbah air asam tambang batubara terhadap jumlah eritrosit, hemoglobin dan leukosit ikan mas {Cyprinus carpio L) penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Januari hingga akhir Maret 2012, bertempat di Laboratorium Dasar Perairan, Program Studi Budidaya Perairan, Fakultas Pertanian dan Laboratorium Fisiologi Hewan, Jurusan Biologi Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Universitas Sriwijaya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk melihat pengaruh air asam tambang terhadap jumlah eritrosit, kadar hemoglobin dan jumlah leukosit ikan mas {Cyprinus carpio L). Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan konsentrasi perlakuan 0%, 0,01%, 0,02%, 0,03%, 0,04% dengan masing-masing 5 ulangan. Selama 24, 48, 72 dan 96 jam variabel pengamatan meliputi perubahan jumlah komponen darah ikan mas {Cyprinus carpio L). Analisis data menggunakan Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) dan apabila terdapat perbedaan dilanjutkan dengan Uji Duncan’s New Multiple Test (DNMRT). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian limbah air asam tambang batubara dengan konsentrasi yang berbeda berpengaruh nyata jika dibandingkan dengan kontrol dan terjadi penurunan terhadap jumlah eritrosit, kadar hemoglobin dan jumlah leukosit ikan mas {Cyprinus carpio L).
