Abstract

Isolasi dan identifikasi bakteri pendegradasi hidrokarbon dari rizosfer Salvinia molesta D.S. Mitchell pada fitoremediasi limbah cair minyak bumi telah dilakukan pada bulan Januari-Maret 2012 di Laboratorium Jurusan Biologi FMIPA Universitas Sriwijaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan isolat bakteri disekitar rhizosfer Salvinia molesta yang mampu mendegradasi hidrokarbon dari limbah cair minyak bumi serta mengetahui karakteristiknya. Sampel limbah cair minyak bumi diambil setiap satu minggu sekali selama satu bulan. Hasil isolasi dan identifikasi diperoleh 13 jenis isolat bakteri yang berpotensi dalam fitoremediasi limbah cair minyak bumi. Pada bioreaktor perlakuan diperoleh 8 isolat bakteri tergolong dalam genus Aeromonas, Planococcus, Pseudomonas, Alcaligenes, Acinetobacter, 3 dalam genus Azotobacter, dan 5 isolat bakteri diperoleh dari bioreaktor kontrol tergolong dalam genus Staphylococcus, Alcaligenes, Acinetobacter, 2 dalam genus Azomonas.
