Abstract

Penelitian mengenai Pemanfaatan Kultur Campur Bacillus spl, Pseudomonas pseudomallei Dan Lamtoro Gung (Leucaena leucocephala) Dalam Proses Bioremediasi Sludge Minyak Bumi telah dilakukan pada bulan Januari - Maret 2012 di Laboratorium Mikrobiologi Jurusan Biologi, Laboratorium Kimia Analisa Jurusan Kimia dan lokasi penanaman Lamtoro Gung di teras belakang Jurusan Kimia, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Universitas Sriwijaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil pemanfaatan kultur campur Bacillus spl, Pseudomonas pseudomallei dan Lamtoro Gung dalam proses bioremediasi sludge minyak bumi, dengan cara menghitung penurunan nilai TPH minyak bumi, pertumbuhan bakteri dan pertumbuhan Lamtoro Gung. Rancangan Percobaan yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 6 kali ulangan. Dimana penanaman lamtoro dilakukan setelah 4 minggu inokulasi bakteri ke dalam bioreaktor. Variabel yang diamati yaitu persentase degradasi TPH, jumlah sel bakteri dan petambahan berat basah Lamtoro Gung. Hasil yang didapat menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan B3 (inokulasi kultur campur Bacillus spl, Pseudomonas pseudoamallei) menghasilkan rata-rata persentase degradasi TPH tertinggi yaitu sebesar 51.16 ± 22,42 %, jumlah sel bakteri tertinggi dicapai pada B4 (inokulasi kultur campur Bacillus spl, Pseudomonas pseudoamallei dengan Lamtoro Gung) sebesar 1,24 x 108 (sel/mL) pada minggu ke-8 bioremediasi, petambahan berat basah tertinggi mencapai 8,67 ± 1,63 gr.
