Abstract
The experiment was intended to study the effect of both EM4 concentration and dosage of manure fertilizer on growth and production of Mustard Green. The observation was conducted at green house of Agricultural Faculty of SriwijayaUniversity, Indralaya during four months, started from March to July 2008.It was an experimental design arranged in Completely Randomized Design1set by factorial treatment with 16 treatments as a combination of EM4 concentration(first factor) and dosage of manure fertilizer (second factor). Each treatment duplicated by three replications, and the treatments consists of four crops which planted in the polybag. The treatments consists of EM-4 Concentration (E) were E0 (no EM4), El (4 ml EM4 l"1 water), E2 (7 ml EM4 l'1 water), and E3 (10 ml EM4 F1 water) and Dosage of Manure Fertilizer (P) were P1 (5 tons ha"1), P2 (10 tons ha"1), P3 (15 tons ha"1), and P4 (20 tons ha"!).The observed parameters were plant height, leaves number, chlorophyll content, ffesh-weight of crop, fresh-weight of shoot, ffesh-weight of roots, total of leaves area, and shoot-root ratio. The result showed that Two factors interaction at growth of mustard green, EM-4 concentration with 10 ml EM-4 l'1 water was good significant at shoot-root ratio of mustard green. Manure fertilizer of 20 ton ha'1 was to give high result on all parameters.
