Abstract

Penelitian mengenai Struktur komunitas Makrozoobenthos di Tebat Gheban Kota Pagar Alam Provinsi Sumatera Selatan Telah dilaksanakan dari bulan April-Oktober 2012. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui struktur komunitas makrozoobentos di perairan Tebat Gheban, Kota Pagar Alam, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei sedangkan penentuan stasiun dilakukan secara Purposive Sampling. Stasiun pengambilan sampel sebanyak tujuh stasiun. Identifikasi sampel makrozoobenthos dilakukan di Laboratorium Taksonomi Hewan, Jurusan Biologi, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Universitas Sriwijaya, Inderalaya. Hasil yang di dapat dikelompokan kedalam 6 kelas 17 Famili dan 19 genus. Indeks Keanekaragaman makrozoobenthos berkisar dari 1,04-1,8 dengan tingkat keanekaragaman sedang. Indeks Keseragaman makrozoobenthos berkisar dari 0,53-0,86. Kepadatan makrozoobenthos berkisar dari 125-1842 individu/m2. Nilai indeks dominansi makrozoobenthos antara 0,2-0,5. Nilai indeks kesamaan komunitas antar stasiun berkisar dari 40%-73,68%.
