Abstract

Influence of solvent on the characteristics of hidrocracking CPO products by using Ni-Monmorillonit pillared AI2O3 catalyst have been done. This research using variety of water and ethanol solvent (1:0, 2:1, 1:1, 1:2, dan 0:1). The hydrocracking of CPO was conducted at the temperature 350 °C, the hydrogen flow rate 1 mL/sec, and amount of catalyst were used 1.5g. The products of hydrocracking CPO were analysed by using bomb calorimeter and gas chromatography. The result showed that the best solvent is the solvent of water (without ethanol), and resulted heat of combustion hidrocracking CPO product about 38.2764 kJ/g, and based on GC measurement yeald 67.53% gasoline ffaction and 32.21% solar ffaction.
