Abstract
This research was entitled Bullying Representation in Japanese Animation Film ‘Koe no Katachi’ (Charles Sanders Peirce Semiotics Analysis). The purpose of this study was to find out and describe the bullying representation that occurred in the Japanese animated film 'Koe No Kataachi ". In this study the author uses the theory of semiotics by Charles Sanders Peirce, which explains triadic and the concept of trichotoma as a sign of a sign of signs. This research method uses qualitative data, in the form of a description and explanation of the results of the analysis of the meaning of the signs in the film '' Koe No Kataachi ''. Data collection techniques are carried out by non-participant observation and documentation studies. The results of this study indicate that the representation that occurred in the Koe No Kataachi film through the analysis of the trichotomy of Charles Sanders Peirce with the focus of sign research, object, and interpretant found results where bullying was represented through actions that occurred in several violent footage both verbally and non-verbally . Bullying behavior also reflects discrimination against persons with disabilities of this bullying act is also in the form of hurting, hurt, forcing, intimidating, mocking, denouncing, insulting, exclaming, and also damaging ownership.
