Abstract

The objectives of this study was to know the concentration and application timing of SSCE for prevent and control downy mildew on chinese cabbage in field. Efflcacy study was conducted againts at orchard in Talang Buruk, Sukarame, Palembang ffom January 2008 to March 2008. The study was designed by Completely Randomized Design (CDR) with eight treatment. They were EKKU 5%-OHST, EKKU 1 %-1+7HST, EKKUl%-l+7+14HST, EKKU2%-1+7HST, EKKU2%-l+7+14HST, POC NASA, difenokonazol, and untreated, with four replications.The result showed that application of as soil drenching as well as leaf• spraying did not significally suppress desease, as compare to untreated. The growthresponses of chinese cabbage applied with SSCE which was meassured as freshweigth of plant and fresh weight of root was also no significally different.
