Abstract

Gasification is a process of energy change where initially a solid state is transformed into a gas form. This technology is used to convert solid fuels such as low gologan coal into combustible gas. In this gasification process using fluidization method. In this gasification process, the research uses the type of fluidized bed gasifier reactor or fluidized bed. The purpose of this research is to get the main dimension of gasifier, get blower pressure capacity and get 3D image and work drawing. The design is based on engine output power of 25 kW, coal calorific value of 5695 kcal/kg and ultimate fuel analysis. The design result obtained by the main dimension of gasifier as follows: The total height (Ht) of 288 cm, the diameter of 32 cm, TDH of 224 cm and the height of the expanding bed (H) of 64 cm. Nozzle obtained dimensions as follows: Height of 5 cm, Diameter nozzle of 2 cm height by 5 cm. Orifice obtained dimensions of 0.21 cm. Capacity of compressor 0.21 m3 / s and compressor pressure 23,53 kPa.
