Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui produktivitas sistem pertanian organik dan sistem aeroponik pada tanaman selada. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di greenhouse Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sriwijaya Indralaya, mulai dari bulan Mei sampai bulan Juni 2005. Budidaya tanaman selada pada penelitian ini terdiri dari dua sistem yaitu sistem pertanian organik dan sistem aeroponik. Metode yang digunakan adalah uji-Wilcoxon. Parameter yang diamati adalah jumlah daun, luas daun, berat segar dan berat kering. Hasil penelitian pada sistem pertanian organik dan sistem aeroponik adalah sebagai berikut: jumlah daun (helai): 10,35 : 11,85 ; luas daun (cm2): 6,34 : 8,26 ; berat segar tanaman (g): 43,29 : 53,68 ; berat kering tanaman (g): 2,54 : 2,76.
