Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecepatan blower dan tekanan pompa dalam upaya memodifikasi besarnya suhu dan kelembaban serta mengetahui tingkat keseragaman dari setiap kombinasi ke dua faktor perlakuan. Kecepatan blower yang digunakan adalah 500-600 rpm, 700-800 rpm, dan 1.000-1.200 rpm sedangkan tekanan pompa yang digunakan adalah 100 kN.m'2, 200 kN.m'2, dan 300 kN.m'2. Pengamatan yang dilakukan di lapangan yaitu mencatat perubahan suhu dan kelembaban relatif udara. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok yang disusun secara faktorial dengan 3 pengelompokan. Semakin besar kecepatan blower dan tekanan pompa maka perubahan suhu yang terjadi akan lebih rendah dan peningkatan kelembaban relatif udara menjadi semakin besar. Rata-rata suhu udara yang dihasilkan berkisar antara 26,5 °C sampai dengan 30,89 °C, dan rata-rata kelembaban relatif udara yang dihasilkan berkisar antara 65,36 % sampai dengan 86,48 %. Rata-rata keseragaman suhu udara yang dihasilkan berkisar antara 96,154 % sampai dengan 98,386 %, dan rata-rata keseragaman RH yang dihasilkan berkisar antara 93,295 % sampai dengan 96,325 %.
