Abstract

This study aims to develop an animated video learning media based on the CapCut application on geographical characteristic island of the Sumatera in Grade V SD Negeri 01 Pemulutan Barat along with knowing the validity and student’s responses about the level of media attractivesness of this video learning media. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D). The research procedure used is the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This study was validated by media expert validators and material expert validators to determine the level of media validity, then tested on class teachers and class V B students to be asked for responses about the level of media attractiveness using a questionnaire. The validation results from the media expert validator are 90% including the "Very Good" category. While the validation results from the material expert validator are 97,5% including the "Very Good" category. The results of the trial on classroom teachers, namely 95%, were included in the "Very Good " category. Then the results of 5 students, namely 88% included in the "Very Good " category. Then the results of 15 students, namely 93% including the "Very Good" category. The average score obtained from the two trials is 90,5% including the "Very Good" category.
