Abstract

The purpose of this research were: 1) to describe the condition of rice farming in the village Upang Mulya after the program Partnership PT Pusri, 2) to determine the role of farmer groups paddy in the village of Upang Mulya in the program Partnership PT Pusri, 3) to calculate the income level of rice farming in Upang Mulya village after CSR program PT Pusri, and 4) to determine the level of relations with the role of farmer groups in the village rice farming income Upang Mulya after the implementation of the partnership program partnership PT Pusri. The research was conducted in the village of Upang Mulya subdistrict Makarti Jaya Banyuasin regency, South Sumatra Province. The choice of location is done intentionally (purposive) with consideration of the village is the site of rice farming is incorporated in Gapoktan trained partners Partnership PT Pusri Palembang. The research method in this research is survey method.For the determination of the sampling of 30 samples were taken from two layers of farmer group that is active farmer groups and farmer groups are less active with stratified random impartial manner (proportionate stratified random sampling),which is taking a sample from each group by the same proportion. The data used consists of primary and secondary data. The results showed that the presence of the Partnership Program for rice farmers trained partners Partnership PT Pusri help farmers to meet the needs of rice farming, particularly in the procurement of rice production input by pressing and releasing the production costs of farmers from the providers of capital at high interest rates. Then the active farmer groups have a high role of the farmer groups are less active in the role as a facilitator of the program and the role of consultation program, while for the role as executive in charge of the program and as a program coordinator have the same criteria that is very high. Based on the income calculation rice farming, farmer groups active in higher than less active farmer group that is Rp 10,869,721,-/ha/mt and Rp 9,893,781,-/ha/mt. Spearman test based on active farmer groups and farmer groups are less active have a high criteria in the relationship between farmer groups with a role of rice farming income level after program PKBL PT Pusri in Upang Mulya village, Banyuasin regency.
