Abstract

PT. Bima Putra Abadi Citranusa is a coal mining company under the auspices of the Bomba Group, which is located in Lahat Regency, South Sumatra. Coal mining activities are carried out using a backhoe excavator of the Dosan DX 520 LCA type as many as 2 units and transportation equipment in the form of a Hino 500 FM 350 PL dump truck as many as 15 units and a Mercedes Benz Axor 3336K as many as 15 units. The coal production target in September 2021 is 150,000 tons/month, but in reality the production achieved is only 131,502.60 tons/month. The purpose of this study was to determine the productivity of loading and unloading equipment and transportation equipment, to analyze the factors inhibiting the productivity of loading and unloading equipment and transportation equipment, to evaluate and to analyze the match factor of the productivity of loading and unloading equipment and transportation equipment. The data taken in the field consisted of the cycle time of digging and loading equipment, the number of coal buckets filled in the conveyance and other supporting data from the company. In this study, analysis and calculation of the productivity of the digging and loading equipment were carried out for further evaluation and improvement efforts were carried out. The results of the evaluation show that the productivity of the digging equipment does not experience problems, but the productivity of the transportation equipment does not reach the target planned by the company. This is due to the high road grade and work efficiency. Efforts are being made to increase the productivity of conveyances by increasing effective working time by improving avoidable obstacles such as being late for work, too early before a break, starting late after a break, and ending work too quickly so that work efficiency can increase from 52% to 56%, the match factor for fllet 1 is 0.83 and on fleet 2 is 0.85. So that the productivity of transportation equipment increased from 131.502.60 tons/month to 154.214.47 tons/month. Keywords: Coal, productivity and production, Factors inhibiting match factor.
