Abstract

Palembang has become a large city that has a variety of cultures, diversity that has spawned a variety of forms, types and patterns of art and culture that is mirroring. With more art and cultural activities that are often carried out in various activities, it is done to support activities by providing an activity that can accommodate activities for artists, cultures and also communities in performing arts and cultural activities. The potential of Palembang art still creates difficulties to appreciate the existing works. Therefore it is necessary support facilities with good quality in order to be able to do activity in Building. The Center of Culture and Activity is the center of Palembang city activities that can integrate with the environment, economically and socially. Using traditional-modern architecture associated with public spaces, which conforms to present architectural norms without losing the regional identity of local wisdom.
