Abstract

The purpose of this research is 1) To describe what causes farmers to do Siam Orange business in Terusan Village, Karang Jaya Sub-District, Muratara District. 2) To analyze the financial feasibility level of Siam citrus business in Terusan Village, Karang Jaya Sub-District, Muratara District. 3) To analyze what factors are most sensitive to the financial feasibility level of Siam citrus business in Terusan Village, Karang Jaya Sub-District, Muratara District. Data collection was collected in January 2019. The sampling method used was purposive sampling or intentional. The samples taken were 35 citrus farmers. This research was conducted in Terusan Village, Karang Jaya Sub-District, Muratara Regency. Data collected were primary data and secondary data. The results showed that the cause of farmers doing Siamese orange business is caused by internal and external factors. Financially 8 years of Siamese business is feasible, where the NPV is Rp. 182.916.426, IRR is 22 percent, Gross B/C is 2,37 percent, Net B/C is 1.67 percent, PP 3,8 years. The most sensitive factor for financial feasibility of siam citrus business is the decreasing price of siamese tolerant limit by 57,95 percent.
