Abstract

Activity of fishery catching reef coral fish in Seribu Island Waters is one of life resource (financial resource) for the fisher. Bubu Tambun is one of equipment fish catch which usually use by the fisher. In fact there is over exploitation which causing dead of reef coral fish and have negative effect for environmental conservation. The objectivity of these research is to determien reef coral fish community structure capture with Bubu Tambun in Seribu Island Waters on December 2005. Activity of these research include interpretation a simple of fish with using Bubu Tambun, identification sample of reef coral fish in Balai Riset Perikanan Laut Jakarta, and interpretation data of physic and Chemical parameter for supported information about community strticture reef coral fish. Analyse data of reef coral fish such as composition, variety index, uniform index and domination spesies index. The result of this research showed that the reef cOral fish dbthination get cought is Pomacentridae family amount 81,39 %, average value of variety index amount 2,715, average value of uniform index amount 1,048 and average value of domination 0,223. There are 28 species of reef coral fish which get caught such us Abudefduf sexfasciatus, Pomacentrus brachialis, Amblyglypidodon sp., Chaeodontoplus mesoleucus, Chaetodon octofasciaus, Hemigymrtus malapterus, Cheilinus fasciatus, Epibulus insidiator, Epinephelus fasciatus, Epinephelus aerolatus, Epinephelus malabaricus, Searus vestifus , Searus sp., Searus psittacus, Searus ferrugineus, Searus spl., Searus sordidus, Searus rivulatus, Searus ghobban, Gymnothorax javanicus, Gymnothorcec ricardsoni, Siganus guttatus, Siganus punclatissimus, Sargocentron sp., and Lethrinus erithropterus.
