Abstract
The title of this thesis is "The Role Of Alamsah Ratu Perwiranegara At Palembang Residency In Physical Revolution Era On 1945-1949 (Material Source of South Sumatra Historical)". The issue have been talked was how the role of Alamsjah Ratu Perwiranegara at Palembang in War of Five Days & Nights, how the role of Alamsjah Ratu Perwiranegara at Palembang Residency in First Military Aggression of Netherland, and how the role of Alamsjah Ratu Perwiranegara at Palembang Residency in Second Military Aggression of Netherland. The objective of this thesis was certainly knowing how the circumstance and effort of Alamsjah Ratu Perwiranegara on defending administrative zone of physical revolusion of Palembang Residency from Netherland’s eagerness of taking a charge. The method used was historical research method, which collecting historical (Heuristik), critics, interpretation, and historiography. The results of the overall study about Alamsjah Ratu Perwiranegara as Chief of Defense staff of the five day and five nights war in Palembang revealed that during the first Dutch military aggression, Alamsjah Ratu Perwiranegara was chosen as chief of staff for the battle of the red garuda brigade in Prabumulih, the head of regiment 44 and as the battle commander in the Ogan Komering Area, and during the second military aggression Alamsjah Ratu Perwiranegara was still in the regiment 44 and became the head of the XII battalion of STP (Palembang Sub Territory).
