Abstract
This study aims to develop interactive multimedia on the circumference and area of rectangles and triangles that are valid, practical, and effective toward student learning outcomes. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students of SDN 157 Palembang. The research was conducted in the even semester of the 2019/2020. The type of research used was development research. The Alessi & Trollip development model used in this study has three stages, namely planning, design and development. The alpha test assessment was conducted by three experts or validators. The results of the products that have been developed were declared valid after repairs were made to the product. The beta test stage was aimed at the three students who had high, medium and low abilities. Based on the positive response of students, it showed that multimedia is stated practical after revised. Interactive multimedia that has been developed has an effectiveness on learning outcomes, it was seen from the results of product trials that 85.71% of students have reached the minimum completeness criteria with an N-gain average value of 0.65 with moderate category. It can be concluded that the interactive multimedia produced was valid, practical, and had an effectiveness in improving student learning outcomes on the circumference and area of rectangles and triangles.
