Abstract
The research hypothesis that the researchers conducted was whether there was a role for ambiguity tolerance to the risk-taking propensity for MSME actors in the era of the covid-19 pandemic. In his research, the method used is a quantitative method with several variables, namely the tendency to take risks and tolerance for ambiguity. The population of this study is MSME actors with a sample of MSME actors in the micro sector in Palembang City. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with the purposive sampling method. With an unknown population and the number of samples, 55 respondents for testing measuring instruments and 150 for research data. The measuring instrument in this study is based on the theory of Nicholson et al. (2005) for the variable, namely risk-taking propensity, and also based on Mclain's theory (2009) for the manufacture of a variable-free measuring instrument, namely ambiguity tolerance. The process of data analysis uses IBM SPSS 16.0 statistical application. The results of the research carried out are that there is an ambiguity tolerance role on risktaking propensity for MSME actors in the Covid-19 era. This shows that the hypothesis in this study is accepted. In the statistical level of the simple regression test results using the IBM SPSS 16.0 application, the simple regression coefficient value is 0.000 (P <0.05) which shows that there is ambiguity tolerance for risk-taking propensity among MSME actors in the Covid-19 pandemic era.
