Abstract

The development of story-based teaching materials using the kinemaster application for building space for fifth grade students at SD IT Nurul Iman Palembang. This study aims to develop teaching materials based on illustrated stories using the kinemaster application for building materials to students and to determine the feasibility of the teaching materials developed. The type of research used is the ADDIE type, where in the researcher only reaches the development stage. The development of teaching materials based on the kinemaster application illustrated story carried out by researchers has quality based on validation tests of material experts, media experts, and homeroom teachers. The assessment score from the material expert is ≥70 with the category "Very good / valid". The assessment score from media experts is ≥70 with the category "Very good / valid". And the assessment score from the homeroom teacher got ≥70 with the "Very good / valid" category. As well as product trials to students with three stages got an overall score of ≥70 in the "Very good" category. Thus it can be concluded that the product of developing teaching materials based on illustrated stories, the application of kinemaster building materials for class V SDIT students is feasible to use. It is recommended that teachers use story-based teaching materials using the kinemaster application as an alternativein the learning process, and for further research it is hoped that it can be developed even better.
