Abstract

RINGKASAN Pabrik pembuatan Metil Propionat dari karbon monoksida, etilen dan methanol dengan kapasitas 60.000 ton/tahun direncanakan berdiri pada tahun 2024 di Cilegon, Provinsi Banten yang diperkirakan memiliki luas area sebesar 5,21 Ha. Proses pembuatan Metil Propionat dengan jenis reaktor multi tubular fixed bed (R-01) dengan katalis Cobalt Sulfide. Kondisi operasi pembuatan Metil Propionat adalah 290oC dan tekanan 49,3 Atm. Reaksi yang terjadi sebagai berikut: Reaksi 1 CO + C2H4 + CH3OH C4H8O2 Reaksi 2 CO + 2CH3OH C3H6O2 + H2O Reaksi 3 CO + C2H4 + H2 C3H6O Reaksi 4 C2H4 + H2 C2H6 Pabrik pembuatan Metil Propionat ini berbentuk Perseroan Terbatas (PT) yang pimpinannya adalah Direktur Utama. Sistem organisasi perusahaan ini adalah line and staff dengan jumlah karyawan sebanyak 163 orang. Hasil dari analisa ekonomi layak didirikan. Pra-rencana Pabrik Pembuatan Metanol sebagai berikut: • Total Capital Investment = US $ 628.681.439,28 • Selling Price per Year = US $ 4.567.285.310,42 • Total Production Cost = US $ 4.024.262.749,23 • Annual Cash Flow = US $ 452.989.207,39 • Pay Out time = 1,31 Tahun • Rate of Return = 64,78% • Discounted Cash Flow = 55,82% • Break Even Point = 33,57% • Service Life = 11 tahun Indralaya, Juli 2019 Mengetahui, Ketua Jurusan Teknik Kimia Dosen Pembimbing Tugas Akhir Dr.Ir.
