Abstract

Grace kclly fish is one of coral fish that has importantly economical value. Grace kelly fish existence will decrease because of industrial waste disposal, household waste disposal, ship activities, oil residue and ship oil pollution which are thrown in the ocean. One of the toxicans that dangerous of the grace kelly fish existence is heavy metal. The purpose of this research is to identify the condition of grace kelly fish’s gills infected by lead metal (Pb). This research uses fiber watcrbowl which has 30 liter volume capacity with a 6 cm grace kelly fish as the animal test and Pb(N03)22H20 as the tester substance, this research uses. The used of methods are toxicity test in 0,05 ppm concentration; 0,10 ppm concentration; 0,15 ppm concentration of twclve-days observation and histology analysis. The result of analysis shows that lead metal can bc categorized as a metal with highly toxicity cffect to grace kelly fish. It can be seen in the fish gills histology analysis which shows the changing of fish gills tissue into a different shape bccausc of the lead metal which are hypcrtrophy, proliferation, hyperplasia, ruptura and necrosys. If the lead metal concentration that is added higher than before. It can increase the damage in tissue.
