Abstract

Research Plankton Community at Ogan River Waters Kertapati district Palembang City south Sumatra Province was performed on Month Of March until June 2013. This research is Plankton community that profusion, variety index, dominansi index, and equality index among station, and figures adulterating zoom condition Ogan river Kertapati district bases saprobik coefficient. Sample take on observational it utilizes to methodic purposive random is sampling to determine 5 observing stations with their station has 3 taking location dots samples. Physics parameter and waters Chemical covers temperature, brightness, current speed, pH, DO, Nitrate and Phosphate. Plankton composition at Ogan River water kertapati district Palembang City consisting of 49 Genera that indigenous 7 classes, with profusions totaled point on ranging month of March among 13-27 ind / L, and profusions totaled point on month of April 2013 have point gyration 12-21 ind / L. Variety lndex point plankton with gyration 1,87 - 2,98 point out community criterion come under into biota community stability middle (be). Base Dominansi Index Plankton with gyration 0,05 - 0,21 which is have no species that dominate another species or D = 0( <0,5). Meanwhile Plankton equality Index among station points out community among relative categorised station differerit( <50%), and river waters quality Ogan bases saprobik Coefficient comes little - much little.
