Abstract

Perception Of Paddy Farmer Of The Sustainability Of Their Farming In P1 Mardiharjo Village Purwodadi District Musi Rawas Regency Ahmad Wiranda Rangkuti1, Imron Zahri2, Elisa Wildayana3 Program Studi Agribisnis, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Sriwijaya Jalan Raya Palembang-Prabumulih Km.32 Indralaya Ogan Ilir 30662 Abstract The objective of this research is to: (1) calculate the use factors of production and productivity of paddy farming in P1 Mardiharjo Village Purwodadi District Musi Rawas Regency, (2) Analyzing the perceptions of paddy farming on the sustainability of their farming in P1 Mardiharjo Village Purwodadi District Musi Rawas Regency. This research was conducted at P1 Mardiharjo Village, Purwodadi District, Musi Rawas Regency in February 2019. Determining location has been done intentionally. The method used by this research is survey method. Sample of this research consist of 40 respondents out of 400 farmers as population which taken by simple random sampling. The results showed 1. that the average factor production use of land owned by farmers was 0,72 hectare. Average total use of the labour allocation is 53,61 HOK per cultivated area per year. Average use of seeds is 33 kilo grams per cultivated area per year, average use of fertilizer is 1.022 kilo grams per cultivated area per year, and average pesticide use is 2,24 liters per cultivated area per year. paddy field productivity of paddy farmers in P1 Mardiharjo village is 5.245,17 kilogram per hectare per year and average income of paddy farmers in the village of P1 Mardiharjo is 11.746.7377,01 rupiah per extensive claim per year. 2. The perception of paddy farmers in P1 Mardiharjo Village about the sustainability of farming is classified as moderate. Judging from the indicators of labour allocation, land area, and income then we can classified it as moderate.
