Abstract
The green mustard (Brassica juncea L.) is a vegetable plant of the Brassicaceae family who are favored by the public to be consumed because they taste good and contain high nutrients such as vitamins A, B, C, E, and K that are useful for the body. Green mustard cultivation is very well developed hydroponically but the nutrients that are often used by public are chemicals which if consumed continuously will have an impact on human health. The purpose of this research was to find out the influence of organic fertilizer manufacturing methods from cricket droppings and shoots bamboo as organic hydroponic fertilizer for the growth of green mustard . The research was conducted from June 2021 to October 2021 at the hydroponic house, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijya University, Indralaya, Ogan Ilir, South Sumatra. The research used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments and 6 replication. The observed herbs include the height of the plant, the number of leaves, the greenish level of the leaves, the fresh weight of the header, the dry weight of the header, the length of the roots, the fresh weight of the roots, and the dry weight of the roots. The data was analyzed using Analysis of variance and followed by an orthogonal contrast test. The results showed that organic hydroponic nutrients from cricket droppings and bamboo shoots have not been able to give good results to the production of green mustard plants. Keywords : Composting, Cricket droppings, Shoots bamboo, Hydroponic, Green mustard.
