Abstract
“Exploration of Phosphate Solubilizing Bacteria from Rhizosphere of Mangrove in Area Sembilang National Park South Sumatra” has been done in January to April 2013. Sampling of soil was conducted in Sembilang National Park by claster sampling method. Samples were taken from 3 different stations. Isolation, characterization and identification in the Laboratory of Microbiology Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences University of Sriwijaya. This research aims to obtain the isolate of phosphate solubilizing bacteria from sediments in rhizosphere of mangrove, to knows the characteristics and identify the bacteria, as well as his ability to solubilize phosphate in different form. The results of isolation obtained 10 isolates bacteria are capable to solubilize phosphate from rhizosphere of mangrove. Four isolates from station I there are Flavobacterium sp (TMiPi), Citrobacter sp (TMiP2), Bacillus sp (TMiP3) and Acetobacter sp (TM1P4). One isolate from station 11 there is Citrobacter sp (TM2Pi), and five isolates from station III there are Yersinia sp (TM3P1), Acetobacter sp (TM3P2), Citrobacter sp (TM3P3), Klebsiella sp (TM3P4) and Micrococcus sp (TM3P5). 10 isolates bacteria are capable to solubiliz phosphate in Ca3(P04)2 form, but there is no isolate capable solubilizing phosphate in A1P04 and FeP04 form.
