Abstract
Had been done degradation petroleum-contaminated soil by using synergy between the consortium bacteria, grass Eleusine indica, and legume Sesbania grandiflora. This research aim to know ability synergy between the bacteria, grass and legume; determining kinetics of degradation and use GC-MS to comprehend fraction of petroleum which degradate. In this research, the contaminated soil was conditioned at concentration 2.5%; 5%; 7.5%; 10%; 12.5% and 15%, by mixing fresh soil, bulking agent and nutrient with comparison 10:1:0,1 and also added petroleum-sludge with initial concentration of TPH is 88,88 %. The bioremediation process was conducted using consortium bacteria inoculation within a week, then the treated soil was planted with grass and legume. The variation time of perception bioremediation for 12 weeks, and the sampling were taken every 2 weeks. The parameter measured is TPH, population of bacteria cell, growth of grass and legume. The kinetics data were analyzed by differential and integral method. result degradation of petroleum-sludge known by comparing chromatogram before and after bioremediation process using GC-MS. Research of synergy between the consortium bacteria, grass and legume showed that order react and degradation rate constant are 0,7 and 0,087 %0,2666/week. The chromatogram GC-MS showed that hydrocarbon compound are consist of C15-C17, C is- C21 and C22. After 12 weeks bioremediation process, the residual hydrocarbon compound are dominated by hydrocarbon compound with carbon chain > C22.
