Abstract

Penelitian mengenai “Komunitas Makrozoobentos di Perairan Sungai Ogan Kecamatan Kertapati Kota Palembang Provinsi Sumatera Selatan” telah dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret sampai dengan Mei 2013. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui struktur komunitas makrozoobentos yang meliputi keanekaragaman, dominansi dan kesamaan antar stasiun. Penentuan stasiun pengamatan dilakukan dengan metode Purposive yang berdasarkan pada perbedaan rona lingkungan tiap stasiun. Parameter fisika dan kimia perairan meliputi temperatur, kecerahan, pH, DO, nitrat dan fosfat, tekstur sedimen dan kandungan organik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase kelimpahan tertinggi adalah pada kelas Gastropoda yaitu sebesar 50%. Indeks keanekaragaman menunjukkan bahwa struktur komunitas masih stabil dengan nilai berkisar 0,72 - 1,29. Nilai Indeks Dominansi menunjukkan nilai berkisar 0,31 - 0,53. Tingkat kesamaan antar stasiun relative mendekati sama dengan nilai Indeks yang berkisar 25 - 80%.
