Abstract

The secondary metabolites compound have been isolated from leaves of mundar's (G. forbesii King) by extraction and chromatography methods. The molecular structures of the isolated compound were determine bases on spectroscopy data including IR, NMR 1D and NMR 2D. The Isolate compounds in the form of white crystal with melting point 217-219 °C. Base on of all the spectroscopy showed that result of isolation compound is depsidone that is l,3,7-trihydroxy-8-methoxy- 2,9-diprenil depsidone. The result of isolation compound showed that activity as antimalarial to Plasmodium f alciparum 3D7 and assign value IC50 0,07474 p,g/mL or 0,01775 pM. one that betokens that this depsidon's compound active as antimalaria.
