Abstract
With the increase in the amount of waste, it must be accompanied by improvements in waste handling infrastructure. To support the development of waste management, it is necessary to plan the development of a waste management system and projected waste handling costs. This study is focused on estimating the cost of handling waste in the Simpang Gegas TPA service area by applying 4 scenarios for handling waste, each scenario consisting of waste collection, waste storage, waste transportation and final waste processing, and there is a waste reduction process. waste management is based on Permendagri No. 7 of 2021, in which the cost calculation consists of calculating investment costs, operational costs and the total cost of handling waste. 4 scenarios are planned, among others. In Scenario 1, it is planned to add 2 more trucks per year using the static countertainer system method. In scenario 1, the estimated operational costs that must be spent are Rp. 644,700,-/ton of waste, and the total cost of handling waste is Rp. 867,900,-/Ton of garbage. Then scenario 2 is planned to add 2 trucks per year using the hauled container system method. In scenario 2, it is estimated that the operational cost of handling waste is Rp. 795,600,-/ton of waste, and the total cost of handling waste is Rp. 1.052.100,-/ton of waste. Scenario 3 and scenario 4 are based on a plan to fulfill JAKSTRANAS 2017, namely with 70% transportation and 30% reduction. In scenario 3 the transportation is planned using the SCS method, and the estimated operational costs are Rp. 664,400,-/ton of waste, and the estimated total cost of handling waste is Rp. 827,500,-/ton of waste. And in scenario 4 the transportation system is planned using the HCS method, and the estimated operational costs are Rp. 557,400,-/ton and the estimated total cost of handling waste is Rp.696,400,-/ton of waste
