Abstract

Penelitian mengenai pengaruh gulma alang-alang (Imperata cyhndrica (L) Racuschel) dan Inokulasi Rhizobium japonicum terhadap nodulasi dan pertumbuhan vegetatif kedelai (Glycine max (L) Merrill) pada tanah ultisol telah dilakukan dari bulan Juni-Agustus 2002 di Rumah Kaca, Jurusan Biologi Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Acak Lengkap berpola faktorial dengan faktor yang dicobakan berupa pemberian anakan gulma alangalang sebanyak 2 anakan, 4 anakan dan tanpa anakan (kontrol) serta faktor II berupa inokulasi Rhizobium japonicum dengan inokulasi dan tanpa inokulasi Rhizobium japonicum. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hanya perlakuan tunggal berupa pemberian anakan gulma • alang-alang berpengaruh nyata terhadap nodulasi dan pertumbuhan vegetatif tanaman kedelai sedangkan inokulasi Rhizobium japonicum serta interaksi gulma alang-alang dengan inokulasi Rhizobium .japonicum berpengaruh tidak nyata
