Abstract

Pendahuluan : Coronavirus disease 2019 atau lebih dikenal Dengan Covid-19 merupakan penyakit infeksi coronavirus jenis baru yang menjadi permasalahan serius yang dihadapi dunia. virus ini menyebar melalui droplet dan kontak, dimana transmisi terjadi secara tidak langsung melalui sentuhan tangan yang tercemar virus. Cuci Tangan Pakai Sabun atau CTPS merupakan salah satu cara efektif yang direkomendasikan sebagai proteksi untuk menghindari, mencegah penularan dan penyebaran Covid-19. Sehingga diharapkan mampu menurunkan persentase kasus dan memutuskan rantai penularan penyakit COVID-19. Perilaku CTPS di Indonesia masih sangat rendah meskipun tingkat pengetahuan terhadap CTPS cukup tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis hubungan berbagai faktor determinan dalam tindakan mencuci tangan pakai sabun di era Adaptasi baru di Kota Palembang. Metode : Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. Jumlah responden penelitian ini adalah 99 sampel dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Informasi dikumpulkan secara online melalui google form pada bulan Oktober 2021. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji chi-square. Hasil : Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan tindakan CTPS (p = 0,023), serta tidak ada hubungan antara sikap dengan tindakan CTPS (p = 0,969), peran petugas kesehatan (p =0,148) dan sarana prasarana ( p =0,969) dengan tindakan CTPS. Kesimpulan : Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah sebagian populasi remaja di kota palembang yang berusia 15-19 tahun memiliki tingkat pengetahuan tentang CTPS yang tergolong tinggi, sikap yang positif terkait CTPS, merasakan adanya peran petugas kesehatan, dan sarana prasarana tergolong memadai, serta tindakan CTPS yang tergolong baik, menandakan tingginya kesadaran CTPS sebagai salah satu upaya pencegahan dan proteksi diri dari penularan Covid-19 di era Adaptasi baru.
