Abstract
This study aims to determine the performance of an electric sprayer using a 18650 lithium battery with the addition of a solar panel polycrystalline 20 WP. This research was conducted from April 2021 to June 2021 at the Workshop Machine Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Indralaya Campus, Sriwijaya University. The method applied in this research is descriptive method. This research was conducted in two stages, namely the design and testing stages of the tool. Research data is presented in the form of tables and graphs. The parameters measured include the intensity of sunlight, maximum efficiency of solar panels, battery resistance and sprayer discharge. From the measurement results, the largest power value received is 98,54 Watts. The maximum efficiency of solar panels polycrystalline is actually 23,60% in the field after being measured. The ability of an electric sprayer using a lithium battery is able to issue a maximum fluid discharge of 1.75 liters / minute.
