Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi keberadaan dan kelimpahan Hypogastrurasp.pada wilayah ekstrem geotermal Gemurak Besar Semendo Kabupaten Muara Enim, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan, serta mengetahui karakter lingkungan yang menunjang kehidupan organisme tersebut. Penelitian eksplorasi ini menggunakan metode jelajah dengan teknik pengumpulan spesimen menggunakan garis transek sepanjang 200 m dari titik pusat sumur geotermaldengan rincian titik mengambilan sampel yaitu 50 m, 100 m, 150 m, dan 200 m. Parameter lingkunganyang di ukur yaitu suhu tanah, dan kelembaban udara, pH, suhu udara, dan kelembaban tanah bersamaan dengan pencuplikan spesiemen. Parameter tekstur tanah dianlisis di Laboratorium Kimia, Biologi dan Kesuburan Tanah Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sriwijaya. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian berupa ditemukannya dua individu Hypogastrurasp. pada jarak 200 m dari titik pusat sumur geotermal pada kedalaman penggalian 10 cm.Hasil penelitian ini berimplikasi terhadap pengelolaan lingkungan setempat dan informasi pembelajaran Biolgi SMA Kelas X. Kontribusi bagi pembelajaran ini dikemas sebagai Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) yang telah divalidasi bagi KD 3.9 Menganalisis informasi/data dari berbagai sumber tentang ekosistem dan semua interaksi yang berlangsung didalamnya.
