Abstract

PT. Bumi Merapi Energi is a company located in Ulak Pandan village, Tanjung Baru, Talang Pandan, and Gunung Agung, Merapi Barat subdistrict, Lahat regency, mining area consists of Serelo block and Kungkilan block. Mining activities conducted at PT. Bumi Merapi Energi uses open-pit mining methods whose activities directly relate to the outside air so that it depends on local climatic and weather conditions so that if it has sufficient rainfall it can cause a problem for the company. Mine drainage system at PT. BME, can not be separated from the calculation of the amount of run off water discharge into the mine site. The water is prevented by creating a water drainage channel that surrounds the mine site. For the evaluation of the drainage system where the 10-year rainfall plan is 265,818 mm / month and the intensity of 6.2045 mm / hour results in the total discharge of water entering the mine at 0.197 m3 / sec. Actual drainage channel at mine site uses trapezoidal channel type where the geometry is wet (A) of 12,69 m2, wetness (P) is 8,92 m, hydraulic radius (R) is 1,42 m, depth Hydraulic (D) of 1.76 m. The ideal dimension and geometry in March is the water depth (d) of 0.442 m, the channel bottom width (b) of 0.81 m, the length of the oblique side (a) of 0.62 m, the wetness of the channel (A) 0.552 m2, the width of the channel (B) of 1.69 m, the wave length (w) of 0.066 m.
