Abstract

Penelitian ini beijudul “pengaruh latihan loncat kotak terhadap hasil lompatjauh gaya jongkok pada siswa putra SMA Negeri 3 Kayuagung”. Permasalahan yang di angkat adakah pengaruh latihan loncat kotak terhadap hasil lompat jauh gaya jongkok pada siswa putra SMA Negeri 3 Kayuagung? Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh latihan loncat kotak terhadap hasil lompat jauh gaya jongkok pada siswa putra SMA Negeri 3 Kayuagung. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi populasi adalah siswa putra kelas X SMA Negeri 3 Kayuagung, jumlah sampel penelitian 60 siswa putra dengan menggunakan random sampling dengan tehnik ordinal pairing. Dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok, 30 siswa sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 30 siswa sebagai kelompok kontrol. Kelompok eksperimen diberikan perlakuan berupa latihan loncat kotak dan kelompok kontrol tidak diberikan perlakuan latihan loncat kotak. Tehnik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes awal dan tes akhir. Setelah melakukan latihan dan dilakukan postes didapat adanya peningkatan mean dari peningkatan kelompok eksperimen sebesar 14,5 cm dan kelompok kontrol sebesar 1,23 cm. Serta hasil uji hipotesis menunjukan nilai thitung lebih besar dari Wi yaitu 14,76>1,67 maka Ha diterima dan Hq ditolak. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang menunjukan bahwa latihan loncat kotak berpengaruh terhadap terhadap hasil lompat jauh gayajongkok pada siswa putra SMA Negeri 3 Kayuagung.
