Abstract

The purposes of this research were: to identify and constrain of ruminant livestock based on pasture and labours in Prabumulih City. The research was done from March to Juny 2009. The calculation method that used was effective capacity calculation of ruminants population improvement (Livestock Directorate General, 1998). The result of this research showed that value for effective of ruminants population (KPPTR) in Prabumulih City was positive about 6.927,38 ST. Main priority for the ruminants livestock development area in Prabumulih City were Rambang Kapak Tengah, Cambai and Prabumulih Barat.
